Early Detection Can Save Lives
The cancer services team at Southeastern Med can offer you the best care available if you are fighting cancer. Our primary wish, however, is that you will never need our cancer services.
Throughout the year, we offer a series of screenings and educational events, particularly targeting lung cancer, breast cancer, and colon cancer. We do our best to make these screening events accessible to the under- or non-insured.
Self-Referral Mammograms
Southeastern Med encourages women in the area to explore the option of self-referral mammograms. Women between the ages of 40 and 80 years old are eligible.
To schedule a self-referral mammogram, call Community Healthlink at 740-432-5465. You can only schedule one mammogram per every 12 months and Community Healthlink will ensure that you have not had a mammogram in a shorter time period than that.
Dr. Sarap or Dr. O’Hanlon will be listed as your referring physician in these cases.
