The cancer treatment program here at Southeastern Med is truly unique for a community hospital, offering patients everything from precautionary cancer screenings to surgery, radiation oncology, and medical oncology—including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hormonal therapy.

The Southeastern Medical Center cancer program has been accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC), for over 30 years, and remains one of just 1,500 programs in the nation to have that distinction. We’re also accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). These honors are based not just on our surgical and treatment services, but our specialized cancer support services, including prevention education, screenings, and other important support services.
