As part of our comprehensive cancer treatment program, Southeastern Med maintains an extensive registry of cancer types, stages, and treatment results, as well as cutting-edge clinical cancer trials. This database enables us to provide big-picture cancer care that results in better outcomes for our patients. It has also helped us to consistently rank in the top 25% of cancer treatment programs nationwide—a rare feat for a hospital located outside of a major urban area.
We are proud to be accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons, and we remain dedicated—through our unique Resource Center—to giving patients and their families all of the information available to help them in the fight against cancer. This includes access to a deep library of materials (books, brochures, videos, online content) covering everything from cancer prevention and early detection to treatment, remission, general education, and more.
